Sapphire Medical

Sapphire Medical was invented by Beta partners. Arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repair requires small incisions with accurate and secure suture knots to a bone anchor. Our Cinch system is the first Nitinol-based knotless orthopedic bone anchor used for shoulder repair. This allows the surgeon to not only secure anchors without tying knots, but also have no intrusive instruments blocking the field of view while adjusting the suture fixation into its desired place. The knotless Cinch bone anchor was sold to Tornier, now known as Piton. Piton >>
